always foreign architecture by leong leong

I’ve been a fan of the works of Leong Leong for sometime now, their work is like an escape, an escape from what is to be expected in architecture, an escape from traditionalism. Leong Leong work with materials in way that is a constant inspiration for me. Their work on 3.1 Phillip Lim flagship store is possibly my favourite, they created a piece of architecture that will always be ahead of its time, that will always looks so modern that it almost doesn’t belong and that is so perfect for the 3.1 Phillip Lim brand.

“While Architecture’s relevance relies on the recognition of what is familiar, Architecture’s survival relies on what will always be foreign.” – Leong Leong
